One of the outdoor tasks we wanted to check off this list this Spring was to repair the cracks that have formed in our aggregate driveway. Now, I have to tell you, I had no idea it was even possible to repair driveways on your own.
It was incredibly easy, though. Mostly because my husband did most of the work but it was simple enough that I could have even repaired the driveway myself

As you can see from the picture above, there was a small crack in the driveway.
Using Eagle Quart Brown Exposed Aggregate Concrete filler found at a local hardware store, we lined the crack with the solution.
Since the crack was somewhat narrow compared to the amount of filler that came out, the repair would have been obvious once it dried. So using a damp rag, we wiped away the excess filler and blended it with the rest of the driveway. The key to making the repair look natural was to make sure the stones were wiped clean of any aggregate filler.
Lastly, we let it dry overnight.
The last picture was taken the following day if you can t tell from the lighting. and the crack is barely visible. Even knowing where the crack was located, I had a difficult time finding it.
10 minutes of work and a 10 product made our aggregate driveway look new again.
